The Team

David Messier

Hello! My name is David Messier. I am a twenty-eight-year-old Army Veteran and the proud owner of Smash Sacramento.

Every day someone somewhere is dealing with a difficult situation that they may not know how to handle. Whether it is the stresses of everyday life, or dealing with a loss, people go through things every day. When I was fifteen years old my mother passed away, and most recently I was faced with the loss of my wife.  Feeling overwhelmed by these life-changing events, the only way I knew how to deal with my anger was through reckless behavior that resulted in me breaking my hand.

While I am still overcoming the worst stage of my life, I know there are other people that have felt trapped and consumed by anger just like I was.  I want to use my life experiences to help others by giving them a way to deal with their anger and stress in a safe environment, or maybe you just enjoy breaking things and not having to clean it. No matter the reason, we wish to bring something new to our amazing city of Sacramento!

So... No matter the reason behind your visit just know, you will have a Smashing good time!!!

Breanna Wilkie

Breanna, is the manager for our first store (carmichael). Aside from handling the owning of a business and managing a store she is also a full time student. Her dream is to find a way to use her criminal justice degree to give back and help our community. Breanna is a smart, and tenacious young lady that is willing to put in hard work and listen/learn from others, this is what makes her so special.

We have been featured on multiple news networks: Good day Sacramento, SacMag, The Sacramento Bee, ABC10, KCRA, and heart radio. We have also hosted the Wounded warriors project, SAC LGBTQ, Sacramento Shock program (Scared straight for youth), donations to fundraiser such as the ticket to dream foundation as well.

Our community has allowed us to stay open by giving us their support and love. We hope to continue to make an impact on the lives of everyone that visits our stores. As well, to make an impact on our community by giving back to local food banks, toy drives, and clothes drives.

Thank You
